Communion Sunday
We will have a time of communion next Sunday, January 11. Although we cannot accommodate every dietary need, gluten-free wafers are available at the Welcome Center, or feel free to bring something from home that you can use for communion. If you plan to worship with us from home, please prepare what you need to take communion from where you are.

Annual Meeting | January 25
The 2026 Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 25, at 9:30 and 11 a.m. in the Chapel. Hear how the Holy Spirit is at work, the financial recap of 2025, and the proposed budget for 2026. Members will have the opportunity to vote on the 2026 budget. Note: No adult Life Groups will meet that morning.

We’re Hiring! Financial Associate (Accounts Payable)
Would you be interested in an eight-hour-per-week job that allows you to serve the Lord by supporting the ministries of CBC? We are currently seeking a part-time Financial Associate (Accounts Payable) to assist with managing and processing invoices and payments, handling deposits, and other key financial tasks. A Night of Prayer & Worship
Come together for a special intergenerational gathering of the CBC family to seek God together through prayer and worship on Sunday, January 25, 6:30-8 p.m. We’ll celebrate what the Holy Spirit is doing in our church, lift our voices in worship, and spend intentional time praying for CBC's ministries. Come ready to reflect, rejoice, and respond to God's movement among us. All ages are welcome!

Membership at CBC
Are you interested in church membership? Membership at Community Bible Church is a way to commit in love and unity to the local body of believers at CBC to both follow Jesus with us and help us follow Him as we seek to Love God, Love Others, and Reach Out. Overflow Coffeehouse
Ladies, take a break after the holidays and join us for Overflow Coffeehouse on Saturday, January 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Enjoy a cozy morning with a selection of coffees, teas, specialty drinks, and your favorite coffeehouse treats. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure space to unwind, connect, and enjoy conversation with other women from our church family. Men's One-Day Retreat
Men! Take this opportunity to connect with other men, recharge your spirit, and grow stronger in faith and purpose as we kick off a new year! GriefShare Support Group
GriefShare is a special weekly support group designed to help you rebuild your life after losing a loved one. Our group is led by caring people who have experienced grief and want to help you through the difficult days ahead. The cost is $20 for the workbook. LOCAL OUTREACH
The Deacon Team Fund
The Deacon Team provides short-term assistance for the physical and material needs of those in the community and within CBC. It is only funded by individual contributions and not the church budget. On Sunday, January 11, all undesignated cash will go to this fund. Donate anytime at cbcpa.org/give, the CBC Marietta app under “Giving” and “Deacon Team Fund,” or by designating “Deacon Team Fund” on an offering envelope in the MPR chairs.
