WELCOME

Thank you for your interest in exploring Community Bible Church! At CBC, you will notice a casual atmosphere and people of all ages and walks of life. Our desire is for you to be welcomed and comfortable as you visit with us!

Our Services

Sunday services begin at

9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

in the Multi-Purpose Room

When you walk in the door, head left towards the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) where our services are held. A greeter will welcome you and give you a program which includes church announcements and other helpful information. You may sit wherever you're comfortable and if you ever need help finding a seat, one of our ushers is more than happy to assist you!

If you have any further questions, we invite you to visit our Welcome Center (located in the Lobby) to meet some of our volunteers and leaders or contact the Church Office at 717.426.1345.

Worship and Music

This time is set aside for communicating with God from our hearts. Our worship team leads us in a blend of upbeat songs of praise, intimate songs of worship, and hymns. Everyone worships in his or her own unique way, for some that means singing and clapping along, and for others it means quietly reflecting on the words.

Offering

As part of our worship, people give back a portion of their incomes as an offering. You are welcome to participate but don't feel any pressure to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attendees allowing them to thank God for all of the great work He is doing in their lives. It also gives Community Bible Church the means to reach more people for Christ in the future.

The Message

Every Sunday, you will hear a straightforward message that is based on the Bible and is designed to be helpful in your everyday life. We trust that these messages will help you develop a growing, vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ and provide a strong biblical foundation for your life.

Communion

Four times a year, we celebrate communion together. Any follower of Jesus Christ can participate in this time of reflection and prayer. The bread represents His broken body and the juice His bloodshed on the cross so that our sins could be forgiven. Click here for more information about our communion service.

Sunday Mornings

Worship at 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

Children’s Ministry
9:00 a.m.-10:15 a.m.

10:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Safe, friendly environments for Nursery through Fifth Grade

Our Sunday children's programs are the perfect place for children from birth through fifth grade. The staff and volunteers create a safe, fun atmosphere in which children can learn Bible stories and participate in age-appropriate worship. Once your children are checked in, with your permission, we can notify you by text message with necessary questions or information during the service. (When you pick up your child, please be sure to bring the parent security badge given to you during check-in. This allows us to ensure your child's safety by matching you with your child. Please pick up your children promptly.)

Youth Ministry

9:00 a.m.-10:15 a.m.

Opportunities for Sixth through Twelfth Grade

Our Sunday youth ministries are a great place for your teenagers to get to know other teens and learn about God. Our junior high ministry is called TNT and meets downstairs in Room 10. Our senior high ministry is called Student Body and meets downstairs in Room 09.

Adults

9:00 a.m.-10:15 a.m.

10:45 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Various Life Groups meet during both service times

We recommend attending a Life Group during one service time and the worship service during the other service time. Please contact Cheryl Miller in the Church Office at 717.426.1345 to help you find a Life Group that best fits you and your needs.

Wednesday Evenings

7:00 p.m.

Children’s Ministry

During the school year, Awana Clubs are available for children three-year-old through Fifth Grade. As in all our Children’s Ministries, the Word of God is central, and the emphasis of Awana is to aid children in making personal, daily application of what the Bible teaches.

Youth Ministry

Our Junior High ministry, called TNT, meets at the TNT building in (45 West Market Street, Marietta) for two hours of worship, life-changing messages, crazy games, small group connections, food and fun!

Our Senior High ministry, called Student Body, meets at the church for two hours of fellowship, singing, Bible lessons, and small group discipleship.
