Job Status:                 Full time

Community Bible Church (CBC) is currently seeking a full-time Pastor of Senior High Ministries who seeks to launch teens into a lifetime of following Jesus Christ and taking ownership of their faith through caring, Christ-centered relationships and teaching. We have a strong senior high ministry in place, known as Student Body, encompassing ninth through twelfth grade, utilizing a staff of approximately 25 volunteers. Therefore, we desire a leader who not only has a heart for reaching teens for Christ, but who can continue to recruit, equip and develop current and future staff to disciple teens. A proven track record of visionary oversight, and the building and equipping of teams is critical. We desire a leader with dynamic communication skills who can effectively communicate with teens.  This person must be a maturing disciple of Jesus Christ who demonstrates godly character, a servant’s heart and is a team player. He must exhibit the ability to promote and administer creative programs that appeal to both churched and unchurched families. Teen ministries already established at CBC which would be overseen by this position include:

    • Sunday Morning teaching time (60+ teens)
    • Wednesday evening youth worship service (75+ teens)
    • Bi-monthly Sunday Night Life Groups through the school year (60+ teens)
    • Annual summer missions trips.
    • Annual Fall and Winter Retreats

About Community Bible Church:

Community Bible Church is a Bible believing, Bible teaching church. We stand uncompromisingly for the inspired Word of God exalting its central figure, our Lord Jesus Christ. We are all about Loving God, Loving Others, and Reaching Out, both globally and locally. We are committed to reaching the next generations for Christ.  We hope you will sense that we are a "come as you are" church with no pretense

Student Body is CBC's ministry for senior high (ninth through twelfth grade) students. It is our desire to come alongside parents and families to help teenagers develop into mature disciples of Jesus Christ. We intentionally design our ministries to engage young people where they are so they can know the relevancy of Christ to their life and soul. We challenge students to let Him be their daily focus so they can experience the exhilaration of walking in harmony with His will and purpose.

Student Body is a thriving (75+ student) ministry that seeks to incorporate all of the core values of CBC.  Sunday mornings are designed to teach core biblical values of our Christian faith. Sunday evening Life Groups meet biweekly in homes and include sharing a meal, in depth expository Bible study, and small group accountability. Wednesday night’s include worship, Bible study lessons that are relevant to their lives, and small group discipleship.

We would prefer the following:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Bible from an accredited Evangelical College or Seminary.
  • Two or more years of full time youth ministry experience in a church of comparable size or larger.
  • Training/education in youth ministry.

Please submit a video of a recent teaching lesson to teenagers along with your resume.
